A large collection of approximately 140 black and white stills, publicity photographs and snap-shots of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, 1906-1960s, including: 8 early black and white photographs of Stan Laurel, 1906-1920, some trimmed, one inscribed on the reverse in Laurel's hand in pencil Me when a boy comedian 1906 (England), another similarly inscribed My first visit to Hal Roach Studio in Culver City to sign contract for 12 one reelers...early 20s I think, largest -- 8¼x5¾in. (21x14.6cm.); two black and white publicity photographs of Laurel by Stax circa 1930s, with photographer's ink-stamp on reverse, both -- 10x8in. (25.4x203.cm.); and approximately 30 snap-shots taken on location in France during the filming of Atoll K, 1951, the shots of Laurel and Hardy in between takes and during filming and other members of cast and crew, majority -- 3¼x5¼in.
