AN UNUSUAL SILVER PICNIC KETTLE,
MARK OF MESSRS. PAIRPOINT, LONDON, 1917,
Rectangular with collapsible angular wood handle & 2 small mounted cork "plugs", each on a chain, which fit into 2 cylindrical holders flanking the spout when not in use, inscribed on front "Before lighting lamp remove cork stopper from cover", on a plated stand now lacking spirit burner, ALSO a silver kettle of squat, flat-bottomed form with short spout similar to those found on Oriental stoneware, 34 oz. (2)
