the bird plumage in various tones of green with irridescent highlights, with moving wings, body and metal beak, pierced gilt grille, the silver case with engine-turned decoration, start/stop pull on the side, oval timepiece set into the front with slightly domed glass and plain border, the dial with second hand to top centre (missing minute hand) on main dial of arabic numerals, separate set/wind control behind hinged apron, the underside with engraved decoration similar to the lid, on short cabriole legs -4 3/8in.
