A fine singing bird in Jardiniêre
the going-barrel movement stamped Phalibois, the bird with prodominant tones of red and black plumage, moving head, wood beak and tailfeather, perched upon natralistic tree with numerous branches and pianted silk leaves, from a rocky naturalistic base with applied dried flowers, start/stop lever from edge of base, set into wide porcelain jardiniêre, with floral painted decoration and key-wind apperture to the side, on three short black and gold highlighted scroll feet -22½in. (57.2cm) high to top of bird, (birdsong cam operating well, movement cam-rod sticking)
