A lady, in lace-bordered blue dress, red cashmere stole draped over her shoulders, cameo-set drop earrings, sprigged lace cap in her dark curling upswept hair; together with a young gentleman, in blue coat with gold buttons, white waistcoat, pleated and knotted cravat with gold stick-pin, forward-combed curling light brown hair (by Pierre-Édouard Dagoty, circa 1800); together with a young officer in red-piped blue coat with gold-embroidered red collar and gold-embroidered facings with gold buttons, high white stock and shirt, curling brown hair and sideburns (by Blanchet, circa 1815)
