The "Calibre 96", represents the very first time that such complicated functions have been harmonized together inside one watch. The complexities of creating a quality minute repeating mechanism is already difficult enough but with the separate movements each representing there own time dial and zone, the technical innovation cannot fail to inspire all collectors.

The watch was launched in 1996 as part of the "World Premiere" series and is numbered 1 in accordance with this being the very first timepiece ever to combine two minute repeating mechanisms. Each new premiere represents either a new function, or a new combination of functions that have never previously been performed by any other manufacturer of timepieces.
