MAHLER, Gustav (1860-1911). Letter signed ('Mahler') to an unidentified recipient ('Euere königliche Hoheit!', perhaps the Archduchess Gisela), Vienna, 9 November 1906, presenting the score and the piano arrangement of his Sixth Symphony, and respectfully thanking the recipient for the honour of their attendance at his concerts, one page, 4to, endorsed at upper margin with a note of the reply, framed and glazed with a portrait photograph of Mahler.
In a letter to Alma in November 1906 about the first performance of the 6th Symphony on the 6th, Mahler wrote: 'As it is a charity concert, all the best people are attending.
