A silver tea and coffee service
mark of Aleksandr Kordes, St. Petersburg, 1860
Comprising a coffee pot and tea-pot, cream jug and a sugar bowl, each of fluted pear shape engraved on one side with a cypher, apparently GGL, on spreading foot, the coffee-pot, tea-pot and two-handled sugar bowl all with with hinged covers and mother-of-pearl finials, the two former and milk-jug with scroll handle bone insulators and gilt interiors, marked on bases and covers
The coffe-pot 7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) high
