APPARENTLY UNMARKED, CIRCA 1780
Cylindrical, the sides with dark blue guilloché enamel within white enamel borders, the hinged cover enamelled en grisaille with a young scholar, within a beaded white enamel border, surrounded by orange enamel, the inside of the cover set with a mirror, marked on bezel with later French import marks, contained in a fitted shagreen case
