Each circular, applied with four foliage and palmette panels, applied on one with the Savoia arms, on another with an initial 'F' and on the other two with a coronet, the bombé sides fluted, marked underneath border, the border further stamped 'Borani Fils'

Lot Essay

Prince Ferdinando Alberto, Duke of Genoa, (1822-1855) was the younger son of Carlo Alberto, King of Sardinia, (1798-1849) and brother of Vittorio Emanuele II, King of Italy, (1820-1878). He was created Duke of Genoa in 1831 and was an Admiral in the Sardinian navy.
