Almost certainly by Henry Thomas Peters, Genoa, circa 1835
Each with a central scrolled tablet cresting flanked by dolphins above a conforming splat, the brown leather upholstered seat on a reeded seat-rail with lappeted spirally turned legs, each with a series of painted and stamped 'P.P.R.' inventory marks and Castello Reale di Racconigi inventory labels dated 1933, one chair inscribed 'Racconigi cabinetto della Regina' (12)
