Attributed to Henry Thomas Peters, Genoa, circa 1835
Each decorated on the front and reverse, the feather capped scrolled end, side, squab cushion and one bolster upholstered in yellow striped silk, on baluster turned legs, the seat-rails to both with painted inventory marks 'P.P.R. 277' and 'P.P.R. 318', one stamped 'P.P.R. 1517' and with a Castello Reale di Racconigi inventory label inscribed '01517' and dated 1933, each with an ink inscribed paper label Dourmouse/Camera....../ad comprise in blu and Dourmouse/Camera...../ad comprise in verde
