The case of typical form, with doors to the sides and rear, urn finials to the angles flanking a steel bell (small hairline crack), on toupie feet, signed on the white Roman enamel convex dial Delaye Maurin a Grenoble, moon hands, steel alarm-setting hand, the twin barrel movement with balance lever escapement, repeat lever to the side, strike and pull wind alarm on bell; winding key
