The case modelled as a harbour town, the silvered Roman dial with blued steel moon hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, numbered 379, mounted on a rosewood and fruitwood marquetry plinth with automaton of a rocking threemaster and rowing boat, powered by an independent barrel signed Breveté Pidaine Ainé & Solon Crevier de Dieppe wound from the front and released from the right side; pendulum
