Westinghouse, circa 1952
each plaque stamped in relief, the first with "Westinghouse" across the top and further marked with "Reduction Gear/Built For/U.S. Lines/Ship Name/UNITED STATES/Inspected/A268B PA-38709/Westinghouse Corporation/Made In U.S.A." and marked with various other details including: S.P.H. (not filled in or etched out due to security issues), GEAR R.P.M. (170), PINION R.P.M. (H.P. 4294/L.P. 3658), Serial (5-A-8618-1), Instr. Book (1410-C17), Patents (five patenmt numbers listed), U.S.M.C. Hull (2917). Dimensions: 6 x 9 in. (15.2 x 22.9 cm.). The other a stamped sign with "Westinghouse" removed from the turbine housing. Dimensions: 4 x 27 in. (10.2 x 68.6 cm.). (2)
