A waterline travel agents model of the S.S. De Grasse
attributed to Arthur G. Henning; circa 1930
the hull built up in wood and with a painted red waterline, black and white topsides fitted with brass lined portholes and an anchor. The decks are of veneer with the planking drawn in place. The decks are detailed with railings, ventilators, cargo hatches, built up bridge structure with running lights, lifeboats on davits, fore and aft masts, funnels in French Line livery, and other details. Displayed on a green painted base.
