AN AMERICAN SILVER TRAY OF HEMISPHERICAL FORM,
MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT, CIRCA 1900, WITH LATER ENGLISH IMPORT MARKS FOR THE LONDON ASSAY OFFICE, LONDON, 1963,
Made to fit on end of a table, the two folded-over bracket feet securing it to edge of table, etched with panels of North American native birds each with a quaint pet name forming a legend at top of each panel, vis."Glory the Cardinal, Brownie the Thrasher, Carol the Meadow Lark, Goldie the Baltimore Oriole, Sammy Jay the Blue Jay, Bob White" and "Blue Heron", the centre vacant with a reserve below inscribed "Anna Deere Wiman", a panel of scrolling foliage in each of the lower corners, 15 in.long (38.2 cm.), 22.25 oz.
