A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER & CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE,
MARK OF K.A, ST.PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890,
Decorated in red, white, green & 2 shades of blue with foliage around a central geometric disc, one side centred with a red & dark blue monogram "S" superimposed on "A", interior gilded & fitted with two pierced sprung clips to secure the cigarettes, 3¼ in. long (8.4 cm.), ALSO a late 19th Century Russian silver cigarette case, mark of Ignatiy Sasikov, Moscow, 1892, cover finely engraved with a group of Cossacks seated in front of a troika, gilt interior.
