A Japanese imari Tokkuri, late 17th Century
the square sectioned bottle with tapering shoulders, decorated in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt depicting tree-shrews amongst fruiting vines, and blossoming chrysantheum, prunus and peony sprays -- 7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) high.
