enamelled with cartouches framed by confronting dragons pursuing the flaming pearl enclosing birds and butterflies amidst rockwork and floral sprays, reserved on a foliate floral black ground -- 13¾in. (34.9cm.) high; and a pair of Canton enamel baluster vases, decorated with cartouches enclosing peony and chrysanthemum sprays above lotus petal panels, reserved on a foliate floral yellow ground, 20th century -- 12 1/8in.
