A Chinese bronze tripod censer, 18th century
of compressed globular form rising to the flared neck, flanked by two handles, each shaped as a chilong clambering onto the rim with its head turned to the back and bifurcated tail trailing on the censer's body, supported on three lion-mask bracket feet, impressed six-character Xuande mark -- 11 9/16in. (29.4cm.) wide.
