A Victorian small engraved gilt-brass timepiece carriage clock
Dent, London. Circa 1850
The case with foliate and brickwork engraving, one side panel depicting a knight on horseback and the other a knight slaying a dragon, the rear door decorated with flame pattern engraving and opening to reveal an inner door frame signed Dent/Watchmaker to the Queen/LONDON, the foliate engraved and silvered dial with painted Roman chapters and blued steel hands, the single chain and fusee movement with platform lever escapement
4 in. (10cm.) high, handle down
