The brass-inlaid plinth with perspex cover (cracked) and on adjustable brass feet, with rotating paddle wheel carrying steel balls providing the motive force, aneroid barometer above and thermometer to the side, the skeletonised brass Roman chapter ring mounted on a perspex plate, the movement with pierced plates, three wheel train and Brocot escapement, each ball (lacking) falling in turn at intervals onto a three-tier ramp and rolling into an individual bucket on a conveyor belt independently driven by a wire and fusee movement in the base, the conveyor belt tripped by the clock movement via linked levers; pendulum
