A PAIR OF EMPIRE ORMOLU AND PATINATED-BRONZE POT-POURRI VASES
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each vase with a gadrooned lip, the pierced lid with pine cone finial, above a stiff-leaf-decorated neck, the foliate-cast ovoid body flanked by masks headed by scroll handles, the square plinth mounted with ribbon-tied wheat-germs and foliate scrolls, on stepped square bases, one vase with restored lid, mirror losses to one.
