A PAIR OF RUSSIAN ORMOLU, PATINATED-BRONZE AND MALACHITE VASES
CIRCA 1840-1850
Each with a campana-shaped vase, the everted lip mounted with beaded lambrequin decoration, the body chased in the Gothic taste, and the acanthus-cast shaped handles decorated with ram's heads, on a gadrooned and foliate-cast square stand, one with inscription 'W18732 113 V(?)' to the underside
One: 14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) high, the other: 15 in. (38 cm.) high; each: 6 in. (15.5 cm.) diameter (2)
