The above copy of The Racquet Game was presented to Fred Hawthorne of The New York Herald Tribune. The collection of signed letters include those from Charles Williams (World Racquets Champion, 1911-13 and 1929), Clarence Pell (American National Racquets Champion, 1915-28, excluding 1916, 1923 and 1926), Quincy A. Shaw, Stanley Gafton Mortimer, John W. Prentiss (first President of the National Squash Tennis Association), George Standing and Henry Clarke (Chairman, Tennis and Racquets Club of Boston).
