CIRCA 1765, BLUE SCEPTRE MARKS, IMPRESSED K TO CUP, IMPRESSED K AND INDISTINCT PRESSNUMER (?) TO SAUCER
The cup painted with two vignettes of peasants at various pursuits in wooded landscapes after David Teniers, below arched purple scale and vertical gilt stave borders edged with moulded and gilt scrolling foliage suspending garlands of coloured flowers, the saucer similarly decorated, gilt line rims (cup with minute wear to gilt rim)
