A rare Merrythought Punkinhead teddy bear
with blue mohair, clear and black glass eyes with white painted backs, black stitched nose and mouth, golden velvet muzzle and feet, white mohair topknot, golden mohair lining to ears and chest, tan hand pads, pink felt shorts and yellow label on foot, late 1940s/early 1950s --10in. (25.5cm.) high (topknot bald, thinning and balding to rest of mohair, shorts faded with hole in front, split to heel of foot and some fading)

Punkinhead was the mascot for Eaton's department store in Toronto and use to lead their annual Christmas parade.
