with pinkish gold mohair, brown and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, tail-operated head mechanism, jointed limbs with felt pads and down turned hands, hump and growler, --late 1940s --16½in. (42cm.) high (general wear and thinning, moth nibbles to pads and tail recovered); and a British teddy bear with wool plush, orange and black glass eyes, inset velvet muzzle, swivel head, jointed limbs with velvet pads and Made in England label in back --17½in. (44.5cm.) high (a few ladders to plush)
