A Japanese bone netsuke of a fishergirl, 19th Century
the figure with delicately modelled facial features, carved bare-chested wearing a long grass skirt, one hand clutches at a lock of the hair which flows down her back, the rest tied high in a top knot, the other hand by her side gripping a bill-hook -- 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) high.
