Moulded with a Classical female figure, the base cast in relief with musical attributes, the dial with painted Roman Chapters, engine turned centre and blued steel hands associated short duration single chain and fusee movement with verge escapement, pierced back cock and signed Willm. Smith LONDON and numbered 12297, the mahogany plinth below housing an independant pinned 2½in. long cylinder musical movement stamped BORNI and numbered 10775 under glass dome, key
