With tapering high-shouldered body, flat lip and recessed foot surrounded by a footrim, finely painted allover with a pair of birds and a butterfly in flight above a garden scene with a pierced rock amidst pink poppies, bamboo and blue and purple asters, all above a formal ruyi band at the base and below a bead-hung petal lappet band on the shoulder and a band of leaf tips on the neck, with an apocryphal, blue-enameled Qianlong four-character mark in regular script, tourmaline stopper
