A pair of Chinese Imari jugs and associated famille rose covers, early 18th century
each decorated in underglaze blue with a bird above peony sprays and pierced rockwork amidst iron-red and gilt bamboo and grass blades, with a band of floral cartouches reserved on a diaper ground below the rim, the strap handle with a floral sprig, surmounted by domed covers with a pearl finial -- the jugs max. 5 13/16in. (14.7cm.) high. (2)
