CIRCA 1785, INCISED NUMERALS
Both standing leaning against plinths and a pile of books, each with a manuscript, on rectangular canted bases some damages and restoration
11½in. (29.3cm.) high and 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high
Together with a group of nine Derby figures of putti, late 18th and early 19th century; a Derby figure of a dairy maid, late 18th century; and a Meissen biscuit porcelain bust of a Classical youth, late 19th century, with incised numerals and impressed crossed sword mark in blue (10)
