A COMPOSITE TOURNAI AND ARRAS BLUE AND WHITE PART DINNER-SERVICE
CIRCA 1780, VARIOUS UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND INCISED MARKS
Painted with chinoiserie peony and prunus issuing from rockwork, within spirally-moulded and fluted basketweave-moulded borders, comprising:
A circular tureen, cover and stand
An oval tureen, cover and stand
A two-handled double-lipped sauceboat and stand
Two large oval serving-dishes
Two small oval serving-dishes
Six circular shallow bowls in sizes
Two deep bowls
Eleven dinner-plates
Five large plates (in two sizes)
The following without basketweave borders:
Eighteen soup-plates
One hundred and eighteen various dinner-plates
