Jean Chrysostome Stumpff, maître in 1766.

Trompe l'oeuil parquetry adorning the front and sides of this secretaire was one of the favourite parquetry designs used by Stumpff, although also used by several other ébénistes such as Roussel, RVLC and Chevalier. P. Kjellberg, Le mobilier Français du XVIIIe Siècle, Paris, 1989, p. 824-827.
