FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY
Comprising a Saxon Glücksburg, the bowl with a sunburst and Dennen soll die Sonne scheinen etc., the reverse with a crescent within clouds and Dennen sey der Mond verdeckt etc., 25 cm. high, a Bohemian, the bowl with a wreathed coat-of-arms and monogrammed S S G P, on multi-knopped stem, 23.5 cm. high, a Thuringian, the bowl with a cartouche with gentlemen around a table, flanked by musicians, underneath the inscription antimelancholia, on knopped hexagonal foot (crizzling, small rim chip), 25.2 cm. high and two extra covers (one with top finial lacking) (5)
