The circular enamel dial signed 'Jques Boucher HGER DE L'OBSERVATOIRE A PARIS' flanked by a berried laurel wreath and surmounted by a swagged urn, above four columns and on a demi-lune stepped base on turned toupie feet, the twin barrels movement with anchor escapement, silk suspended pendulum and count wheel strike on bell
