The circular top with original gilt-tooled green leather-lined surface, above a plain freeze with gadrooned lower edge, incorporating four part mahogany-lined frieze drawers and four simulated frieze drawers, on a triangular spreading shaft terminating in scrolls at each corner, on a plinth base with concave sides, on paw feet headed by shells, with sunk brass castors, the locks and handles original, the locks stamped 'GR' below a crown
