FIRST EDITION of this anatomy for artists. Lami, a sculptor and Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, was greatly enamoured of Egypt and travelled to Egypt on a number of occasions, subsequently dying there. In between his visits he exhibited sculpture at the Paris Salon; for the first time in 1850 and later in 1857.
