GANDHARA, 2ND/3RD CENTURY

Having proven his miraculous powers, Buddha was invited to dinner by King Bimbisara, wishing to become his disciple. While on his way, a young Brahman appeared guiding him toward the palace, singing verses in his honor accompanied by a drum.
