The flattened tapering baluster vase carved in openwork on one of the narrow sides with a peacock perched in the branches of a tree peony growing from pierced rockwork, while another tree peony and a rose grow from the rockwork on the other side, with small foliate scroll handles flanking the neck, the cover surmounted by the sun enveloped in vaporous clouds
