Edo period (19th century), inscribed Bizen kuni ju Osafune Yasumitsu saku and bearing date Oei nijunen hachigatsu (no) hi
Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, ko-kissaki, koshizori, with itame forging pattern and a narrow suguha tempered edge, the tang ubu with kiri file marks and one hole, gilt-copper one-piece habaki, 25¾in.(65.4cm.) long

19th-century ito-maki tachi mounts with a nashiji saya lacquered with hollyhock crests in gold hiramaki-e and wrapped in brocade and blue silk between the hangers, the hardware all gilt-copper and carved with scrolling vines against a nanako ground, tsuka wih gold dragon and ken menuki, gilt-copper aoi tsuba
