(18th-20th century), the first attributed to Kamiyoshi Fukanobu, the second attributed to Hayashi Shigemitsu, the third signed Enshu ju Hideaki tsukuru
The first an iron sukashi tsuba pierced with a Higo design of stylized butterflies; the second an iron sukashi tsuba pierced with cherry blossoms, hitsu-ana enlarged and later re-sized with soft-metal additions; the third an iron sukashi tsuba with a classic Higo-Akasaka design of a crane with outstretched wings
