Circular yamagane plate finished with diagonal yasuri marks on the web surface and pierced with overlapping circles, raised rim
2¾in. (7.1cm.) diameter

With a Tokubetsu hozon tosugu (Sword-fitting especially worthy of preserving) certificate no. 220901 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1990.10.31
