The shaped rectangular top with moulded surround signed Henry Dasson 1886, inlaid with a cartouche and marquetry of summer flowers, above a similarly decorated shaped frieze, the front with gilt-tooled black leather writing-slide, the sides each with a drawer, on cabriole legs headed by a rocaille clasp and terminating in foliate sabots, stamped to the underside HENRY DASSON 1886
