Two scenes from The Mahabharatha: Krishna mediating between two kings and Krishna preparing for a journey

The first painting depicts Krishna twice, once with his brother in the upper left, meeting with King Vaya and his advisors in front of their tents outside the palace walls, followed by Krishna and his group meeting with the local king and his advisors in the center of the palace courtyard, surrounded by scenes from everyday palace life; the second depicts Krishna directing warriors to disband their camp outside the palace walls and set forth on their journey; both with inscriptions above key figures
