Northeastern India, Pala-Sena Period, 12th century
The goddess standing on her lion mount and bull's body over a double-lotus base, pulling the demon Mahisha's head back as he emerges from the bull's severed neck, thrusting a spear into his shoulder, her remaining eight arms holding various weapons, flanked by matrika assisting in the battle, celestial beings flying above and centered with a kirttimukha mask
