A gilt bronze group of Indra and Indrani on a lotus throne
Nepal, 15th century
Seated in "royal ease" over a double-lotus throne, her left hand raised in blessing and his right hand lowered holding a vajra, dressed in voluminous dhotis and scarves and adorned with multiple jewelry, the faces with benign expressions and the hair pulled back into high chignons secured with large tiaras tied by billowing ribbons
