With ebonised mouldings throughout, the shaped cornice centred by a winged herald and with rosette corner blocks, fitted with three adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of astragal glazed doors, the fall enclosing a baize-lined writing surface and fitted with interior drawers, pigeon holes and secret compartment and with panelled doors below enclosing a slide, second slide missing
